About me…

Ariane Noosh Barret, aka « Arianoosh » was born in Paris in 1979. She studied in the Fine Arts School of Paris in 1999 in the studio of Richard Deacon, where she perfected her technique in sculpture, drawing and photography. She made many workshops overseas during her studies, taking pictures and drawing sketch books. Driven by her need to communicate, she developed a passion for language and calligraphy. After graduating, she continued her travels, exploring continents in search of details and images. By foot, by train, by bus, on a motorcycle or a skateboard, she looks for remote places as well as megalopolies. She collects shots, creating a multi-faceted image bank…

She landed 2 years ago in Barcelona, and she came back to complete a long term project that she began in 1999. This work is based on pictures and is directly linked to her archaeological work on anatomy and bones. She’s just trying to show people’s inner beauty… Showing what’s really inside… And it’s obvious that we are all made of bones… It can have different meanings, depending on the photography. She works on old pictures, magazines, flyers, posters, art reproductions, playing cards or whatever that shows flesh… will be made of bones…
